Achtsioglou: Tax Extraction More Than Double Mitsotakis' Measures at TIF

New Left MP Efi Achtsioglou has denounced that the tax extraction from citizens is more than double the measures announced by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF).
Speaking to "Parapolitika," Ms. Achtsioglou stated that there is a surplus of 8 billion euros, while the target was 3.5 billion euros, emphasizing that this is a "extraction of citizens through taxation, mainly from VAT and income tax."
The MP also referred to the lack of control in the market, with banks showing "astronomical profits" and greedflation.
Regarding labor issues, Ms. Achtsioglou criticized the 13-hour workday, saying that Ms. Kerameos' bill forces workers to work longer to make ends meet, while at the same time "every three days a scandal of squandering public money by ND comes out and is covered up."
