D. Markopoulos: Denies rumors about lacking university degree

New Democracy MP for Piraeus B, Dimitris Markopoulos, categorically denied rumors questioning the existence of his university degree. These rumors intensified after relevant claims by Stefanos Kasselakis and posts on social media.

Mr. Markopoulos speaks of an organized attempt to tarnish his credibility, which began after he took office as parliamentary representative of ND. He clarifies that he holds a degree from the School of Humanities of the Hellenic Open University (EAP) of the University of Patras.

In addition, Mr. Markopoulos holds a diploma in Media and Journalism from the Organization for Vocational Education & Training of the Ministry of National Education & Religious Affairs. He called on those who spread false information to retract it.
