Dendias: Evagoras Pallikaridis' Sacrifice an Example of Bravery

The Minister of National Defence, Nikos Dendias, commemorated Evagoras Pallikaridis, 69 years after his execution. In a post on social network X, Mr. Dendias stated that Pallikaridis' sacrifice is an "emblematic example of the bravery of our Cypriot brothers, in their struggle for Freedom."

Evagoras Pallikaridis, a fighter of E.O.K.A., was executed by British forces at the age of 19 and is buried in the Imprisoned Graves in Nicosia.
