Dendias in Cyprus: Greece Supports Cyprus After Drone Attack

Greek Defence Minister Nikos Dendias conveyed a message of support from Greece to Cyprus following the Iranian drone attack on British Bases Akrotiri. President Nikos Christodoulides thanked Greece for its prompt response to the request to strengthen the country's defense.
Following the arrival of Greek F-16 fighter jets at "Andreas Papandreou" airbase in Paphos and the arrival of the frigates "Kimon" and "Psara", Mr. Dendias and the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff met with President Christodoulides and Defence Minister Vassilis Palmas.
President Christodoulides stressed that the Greek response paves the way for the European Union, mentioning communications with the French President and the German Chancellor. Mr. Dendias assured of Greece's full support to Cyprus.
