Public Consultation on Public Broadcasting Underway

The State Aid Control Commissioner, Stella Michaelidou, has announced the start of a public consultation regarding the "Communication 2009" on public broadcasting.

The aim of the consultation is to gather opinions and experiences regarding the operation of the Communication since its last revision in 2009, in order to assess whether it still meets its objectives.

The Committee also seeks to identify any challenges that stakeholders have faced in implementing or interpreting its rules. Broad participation of all interested parties and the wider public is encouraged.
