City of Athens Transfers Old National Printing Office to the Council of State

The City of Athens has transferred the building of the Old National Printing Office to the Council of State (ΣτΕ), aiming to cover the court's housing needs and expedite the administration of justice.

The transfer was announced at a joint press conference by the Mayor of Athens, Charis Doukas, and the President of the Council of State, Michalis Pikramenos.

Mr. Doukas emphasized that the transfer is being carried out for reasons of public interest, with the aim of accelerating the administration of justice. Mr. Pikramenos thanked the City of Athens for the decision, stressing that it strengthens the functionality of the court.

The historic building is located on Stadiou and Santaroza streets.

The press conference was also attended by the Minister of Justice Georgios Floridis, the Deputy Minister of Justice Giannis Bougas, and the Secretary General of the Ministry of Justice Pelopas Laskos.
