Poll Shows Erhürman Leading in Occupied Territories' 'Presidential Elections'

A poll cited by the Turkish Cypriot website Havadis indicates that Tufan Erhürman is leading against the current Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar, ahead of the 'presidential elections' in October in the occupied territories.
According to the poll, Erhürman garners 57% compared to Tatar's 43%. The survey was reportedly conducted by a Turkish company and funded by AKSA.
Havadis reports that Tatar is only ahead in the 'district' of Trikomo - Karpasia, while Erhürman is ahead in the 'districts' of Nicosia, Kyrenia, and Morphou - Lefka.
Also, independent 'MPs' Ayşegül Baybars and Ceyl Refik Rogers, as well as former 'MP' Gülşah Sanver, announced that they will support the candidacy of Tufan Erhürman.
Finally, the collective bodies of KΛ will meet on July 30 to decide whether its president, Kudret Özersay, will be a candidate in the 'elections'.
