Agriculture Minister Maria Panayiotou Appointed to Secondary Education

The Minister of Agriculture, Maria Panayiotou, has been appointed to the list of permanent probationary teacher appointments in Secondary General Education for the school year 2025-2026.

Ms. Panayiotou, a graduate of the University of Cyprus in 2004, with a master's and doctoral degree, received her appointment in Lemesos, 21 years after her initial registration on the list of appointees.

The Minister is expected to submit a request to the Educational Service Committee to suspend her appointment.
