Local Government Reforms Announced by President Christodoulides

The President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, announced the Government's intention to proceed with corrective actions to the new local government system. The proposals will be submitted to Parliament after the parliamentary elections.

During the inauguration of three development projects in Polis Chrysochous, the President stressed the need for sustainable development and improving the quality of life for citizens.

President Christodoulides also highlighted the importance of cooperation with the Ministry of Education, the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, and the Deputy Ministry of Culture to promote the region and boost tourism.
