The Minister of Social Cohesion and Family, Domna Michailidou, announced the creation of 2,300 residences in unused military camps, in collaboration with the Ministry of National Defence. The residences will be allocated based on social and economic criteria, prioritizing large and single-parent families, with affordable rent.

Ms. Michailidou stated that Greece is implementing a housing policy with 43 measures and a budget of 7 billion euros. She also mentioned the "Nannies of the Neighborhood" program, for which a ministerial decision will be issued this week, and the unified food assistance system, with 400 million euros in vouchers for households in need.

Within the framework of social support, the program "All Digital - Digital Empowerment and Participation for All" was also presented, in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Governance, to familiarize citizens over 65 years of age and Persons with Disabilities with digital technologies.
