Doukas: Criticism of PASOK's expansion

The Mayor of Athens, Haris Doukas, has strongly criticized the expansion process of PASOK, describing it as a 'hodgepodge'. In statements to SKAI, he said that 'we cannot appear to be taking people out of a sack'.

Mr. Doukas argued that there should be rules and values in the additions to the party, which, as he said, is not happening now. He also commented sarcastically on the possible cooperation with Alexis Tsipras, saying 'we have reached the point of announcing Pelegrinis'.

Referring to the criticism he received for his statement about talks with those who believe in progressive governance, Haris Doukas stressed the need for a clear agenda and separation from New Democracy.
