Attari Appeals for Protection of Palestinian Prisoners

The Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Cyprus, Abdalla Attari, has appealed to the Government and the House of Representatives for the protection of Palestinian prisoners.

The appeal follows the intrusion of Israeli Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir into the cell of Marwan Barghouti, who has been in isolation for 23 years.

Attari states that Ben-Gvir threatened Barghouti with physical extermination, while a dramatic deterioration in his health has been recorded.
