ESIEA Elections: Antoniadou Leads with 36.7%

The ESIEA elections for the new Board of Directors concluded with increased participation. The faction of Maria Antoniadou, "United Journalists", secured first place with 36.7% and four seats.

The process took place on February 10, 11 and 12, 2026. Participation reached 2,750 members, with 2,626 valid ballots.

The "Rally of Journalists - Dourios Typos" came in second with 22.2% and three seats. "Nea ESIEA" recorded a decrease in strength, while the Tsalapatis faction was out of the Board.

Detailed results:

• United Journalists: 36.7% – 968 votes (4 seats)
• Rally: 22.2% – 584 votes (3 seats)
• Nea ESIEA: 14.5% – 393 votes (2 seats)
• Cooperation: 0.8% – 274 votes (1 seat)
