Cyprus Elections: Paphos Gains Seat from Nicosia

According to the latest revised data from the electoral roll on July 2nd, Paphos is gaining one seat at the expense of Nicosia. This means that Nicosia will have 19 seats and Paphos 5.

The population balances between Limassol and Famagusta are delicate, leaving open the possibility for one seat from Limassol to be transferred to Famagusta. Everything will be clarified after October 2nd, with the next revision of the electoral roll.

The number of preference votes for the Nicosia district will not be six but five.
