ELAM Denies Involvement, Responds to Vandalism Allegations by Proodeftiki

ELAM denies any involvement in the vandalism of Proodeftiki's stand at the University of Nicosia and responds to the accusations.

In a statement, ELAM calls the propaganda of the Proodeftiki Student Movement "ridiculous" and claims that vandalism practices are characteristic of Proodeftiki.

"The practices of 'vandalizing' furniture are yours. Only at the University of Cyprus, where we operate, have we received dozens of attacks from people in your area," the statement said.

ELAM adds that it does not need such actions and that it has its positions and love for the country.

The statement concludes with a reference to the slogan "Free Palestine" written on the stand, noting that ELAM should have asked the stand if it reacted when the slogan was written on it.
