Ellikos Ilia Appointed Acting Director-General at Ministry of Defence

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has decided to terminate the acting appointment of Anna Aristotelous from the position of Director-General at the Ministry of Defence.

According to an announcement, the PSC, following a relevant recommendation from the Council of Ministers, proceeded to terminate the appointment of Ms. Aristotelous, Director of Prisons.

At the same time, the PSC appointed Ellikos Ilia, Director-General of the Ministry of Interior, as acting Director-General at the Ministry of Defence from 25.06.2025 to 02.07.2025, in addition to his duties.
