FISC MEPs Visit Cyprus for Tax Issues

A four-member delegation from the European Parliament's Subcommittee on Tax Matters (FISC) will visit Cyprus on September 16 and 17 for meetings regarding tax policy.

The MEPs will discuss issues such as combating tax evasion, simplifying taxation, implementing the OECD's two-pillar tax reform, and energy taxation.

The delegation will meet with the President of the House of Representatives, members of the Committee on Finance and Budget, the Assistant Tax Commissioner, representatives of civil society, trade unions, accounting and tax advisory firms, the Federation of Employers and Industrialists (OEB), and the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KEBE).

A press conference will be held on September 17 with the head of the delegation, Kira Peter-Hansen, and Christiana Erotokritou.

The delegation consists of: Kira Peter-Hansen, Michalis Chatzipantela, Kinga Kollár, and Pierre Pimpie.
