Austrian Chancellor visits Cyprus

Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker is visiting Cyprus starting this afternoon.

The President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, hosted a private dinner for the Austrian Chancellor.

This morning, an official welcome will take place at the Presidential Palace, followed by a private meeting between the two leaders and extended talks between the Cypriot and Austrian delegations.

The agenda includes bilateral relations, European issues, the priorities of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2026, developments in the Cyprus issue, the situation in Ukraine and the Middle East, and other international developments.
