Erdogan: Two states only solution for Cyprus issue

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan reiterated his position for a two-state solution in Cyprus, calling on the Greek Cypriot side to show a constructive attitude.
In statements after the cabinet meeting, Erdogan stressed that the solution lies through the coexistence of two states, asking the Greek Cypriot side to show the same spirit as the Turkish Cypriot side.
"If the Greek Cypriot side shows the constructive disposition shown by the Turkish Cypriots, then a fair and realistic solution can be found on the island based on equality through sovereignty and equal international status," he noted.
