F. Karsera: Projects to support the Maronite community

First Lady Filippa Karsera Christodoulides visited Kormakitis, stating that the goal is to implement projects that will support the Maronite community. The visit took place at the Center for Cooperation, a few days before Christmas.

Ms. Karsera expressed her emotion for the warm welcome and emphasized that supporting the community is an investment in anticipation of reunification. She linked the strengthening of the Maronite community with the effort to resolve the Cyprus issue, emphasizing the need for free movement and living for all residents of Cyprus.

She also referred to the President's efforts to restart negotiations and the priority given to the demands of the Maronite community. She made special reference to infrastructure projects, such as the operation of the school, and thanked the European Commission for its support.
