Fidias Responds to Criticism Over Auxentiou Podcast

MEP Fidias Panagiotou has responded to the reactions sparked by a podcast with journalist and historian Michalis Michael regarding the sacrifice of Grigoris Afxentiou.

Fidias addressed the reactions, noting that it is not the first time Mr. Michael has presented these facts, but the first time there has been a reaction. He attributed the reactions to pre-election motives and exploitation of a sensitive issue.

"I never said I agree or disagree," he stressed regarding Mr. Michael's statements, adding that all information should be investigated and evaluated. Finally, he referred to the banner of fans of his team, asking that no one be prosecuted.
