Giorgos Tsipras: Ironic post about Nikolas Farandouris

Giorgos Tsipras, in a post, commented ironically on the expulsion of MEP Nikolas Farandouris from SYRIZA, following his statements in favor of the Karystianos party.

Mr. Tsipras characteristically stated about N. Farandouris: "Strange, it didn't seem like him... On television he looked modest, humble, never talked about himself, a man with beliefs and principles, he didn't go wherever the wind blew, not at all a politician. It's also evident from the photo."

Continuing, he referred to the political career of N. Farandouris, noting: "He passed through the offices of ministers of ND, was placed in various posts, rubbed shoulders with PASOK, was launched by A. Tsipras after the first elections in 2023 and became full SYRIZA, when Kasselakis prevailed full Kasselakis..."

G. Tsipras concluded by characterizing N. Farandouris's stance as "the highest stage of the pretense of the old orthodox SYRIZA".
