ISOTITA Calls for Police Protest Outside Parliament

The Pancyprian Union ISOTITA has called on its members to participate massively in tomorrow's protest (Wednesday, January 21, 2026, 09:00 a.m.) outside the House of Representatives, regarding the issue of working hours and days off for police officers.

In a statement, ISOTITA states that it stands by the police officers against the decision of the Police leadership to impose a new work schedule (11×37 instead of 12×36) through a circular from January 1, 2026. The union describes the action as an attack on the rule of law and labor rights.

ISOTITA has filed an Application for Annulment in the Administrative Court. At the same time, it emphasizes the importance of mass participation in the protest.
