K. Mavridis: From submission to Islamism, to defending the homeland

MEP Kostas Mavridis (DIKO - S&D), in his article, refers to the penetration of Islamism into European societies and the need to defend national identity.
Mr. Mavridis points out that the penetration starts from the Islamic veil and reaches illegal immigration, with the aim of subjugating societies to Islamism. He cites Denmark as an example of a country that implements strict policies to combat illegal immigration and protect its identity.
Measures implemented in Denmark include the prohibition of the burqa in public places, the prohibition of the Islamic veil in schools, the removal of benefits from asylum seekers who do not comply, and immediate deportation in case of a criminal offense.
Kostas Mavridis also refers to statements by the head of an NGO in Cyprus, who welcomed mass immigration. Finally, he emphasizes the importance of implementing policies adapted to the conditions of Cyprus and Greece, as well as the need to protect European values from attempts to distort them in the name of multiculturalism.
