K. Themistokleous to Anastasiades: "He has delusions about his responsibilities"

Former Minister Kostas Themistokleous, from the government of Clerides, harshly criticized former President Nikos Anastasiades regarding his handling of the Cyprus issue.

In his statement, K. Themistokleous stated that N. Anastasiades "has the delusion that by constantly stating that 'you adopt Turkish narratives on the Cyprus issue,' he will be relieved of the enormous responsibilities he personally has for the decline that the country's primary problem has taken."

K. Themistokleous claimed that N. Anastasiades, in a secret meeting with Mr. Tsavousoglou, said that "the solution of Federation is not feasible."

The full statement of K. Themistokleous states that N. Anastasiades is trying to avoid his responsibilities for the course of the Cyprus issue, while also arguing that the former President concluded the July 2017 Conference with divisive demands.
