Occupied Territories: "Presidential Elections" October 19, 2025, Voter Increase

The "presidential elections" in the occupied territories are scheduled for October 19, 2025, according to the "president" of the "supreme court", Bertan Özerdağ.

As of early May, the number of voters stood at 215,611. Pre-election restrictions will begin on August 24.

In the 2020 "presidential elections", there were 198,957 voters in the first round and 199,029 in the second. According to Mr. Özerdağ, there is an increase of 16,582 voters compared to 2020, due to population growth, new voters who have reached the age of 18, and individuals who have acquired "citizenship".

The voter count is expected to be updated again in late June.
