Government-DISY Clash Over President's Pension and Anti-Occupation Event

Democratic Rally (DISY) commented on the President's decision to donate his pension to nursing homes, arguing that he should have waived it from the start. DISY stated that the move is positive but delayed, and that philanthropy should not be used as a means of communication.

The Director of the President's Office, Charalambos Charalambous, responded that DISY did not comment on Mr. Kazamias' speech at the Anti-Occupation Famagusta event, but found time to comment on the President's pension.
