Cypriots Evacuated from Israel, Iran – 3,000 Travelers Transited Through Cyprus

A total of 53 Cypriot citizens were evacuated from Israel and Iran, with the majority repatriating to Cyprus. The operation was carried out under the “ESTIA” National Plan, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

France completed the planning of evacuation flights, transporting 395 third-country citizens on seven flights from Israel. In total, 608 people were assisted through the “ESTIA” plan, while an additional 296 citizens departed on special commercial flights.

More than 3,000 citizens were temporarily in Cyprus due to flight diversions.
