Cyprus to Apply for EU's Safe Regulation Membership

Cyprus is set to formally submit its application to join the European Union's Safe regulation tomorrow.

Defense Minister Vasilis Palmas described upgrading the Cypriot defense industry as a top priority, emphasizing its contribution to the Republic of Cyprus' economy and Gross Domestic Product.

Mr. Palmas also expressed the government's support for Cypriot businesses operating in the defense industry sector.
