Letybiotis Calls for Constructive Stance on Cost-of-Living Allowance (ATA)

Government Spokesperson Konstantinos Letybiotis has called on trade unions to adopt a constructive stance in order to find a solution regarding the Automatic Cost-of-Living Adjustment (ATA).

Speaking on the Alpha Enimerosi show, Mr. Letybiotis stressed that the dialogue process is ongoing and that the Minister of Labor has not declared a deadlock, as there are positive prospects for an agreement.

Mr. Letybiotis added that the Ministry of Labor is in constant communication with the Ministry of Finance to ensure that the discussions are in line with public finances.

He emphasized that the ATA is part of the plan to protect the purchasing power of citizens and expressed confidence that, with a constructive stance from all parties involved, there can be a positive outcome.
