Nicosia: EESC Meeting Commences Ahead of Presidency

The first institutional meeting of the Bureau of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) has commenced in Nicosia, in anticipation of the Cypriot Presidency.

The meeting of the expanded Bureau took place at the Presidential Palace, followed by meetings of three working groups.

According to an announcement by the Secretariat of the Cypriot Presidency, the works will culminate tomorrow with the meeting of the EESC Bureau, where President Christodoulides will speak.
