Margaret Thatcher: New biography reveals 'hidden' affairs

A new biography of Margaret Thatcher, titled 'The Incidental Feminist' by Tina Gaudoin, reveals details about the personal life of the former British Prime Minister.

According to the book, Thatcher allegedly had two extramarital affairs. The first was with Humphrey Atkins, a Conservative MP, while the second was an 'off-the-record friendship' with Lord Timothy Bell, her communications advisor.

Gaudoin argues that Thatcher normalized the presence of women in power and that her marriage to Denis Thatcher was crucial to her career.
