Matsakis: Varoshiotou 'Eaten' Over Nikolaou Case

Forensic pathologist Marios Matsakis claimed that the establishment "ate" judge Doria Varoshiotou due to her involvement in the Thanassis Nikolaou case. Speaking on "P" radio, he stated that the case was not properly investigated, resulting in the cause of death remaining undetermined.

Mr. Matsakis emphasized that Cyprus was condemned by the ECHR due to the inadequate investigation. He also mentioned that three coroner's inquests were conducted, which is unprecedented for Cyprus. Furthermore, he argued that the Attorney General's office is exposed, as it appointed criminal investigators who reached conclusions about responsibilities, which were not accepted.
