Mitsotakis: MyStreet app launched for public space transparency

The MyStreet application, a digital tool for safeguarding legality and transparency in public spaces, was presented at a meeting under Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the Maximos Mansion.
The application provides access to information on public spaces, electric vehicle charging points, and safe gathering points. It will soon include information on disabled parking spaces and defibrillators.
Users can submit complaints about violations such as exceeding the limits of outdoor seating or obstructing access for people with disabilities, anonymously or non-anonymously.
So far, 5,736 concessions have been registered from 60 municipalities, while 9,381 citizens have downloaded the application and 1,273 complaints have been submitted.
Dimitris Papastergiou, Minister of Digital Governance, noted that the application aims to regulate public spaces and that there is already interest from citizens.
Michalis Chrysochoidis reported an increase in inspections and violations confirmed by the Hellenic Police for outdoor seating in 2025.
Akis Skertsos stressed the importance of pressure from citizens on municipal authorities to utilize the application.
Lazaros Kyrizoglou stated that public space must be regained by society.
Stelios Angeloudis, Mayor of Thessaloniki, emphasized that the application helps both citizens and the Municipal Police.
