PM: Meeting With Erdogan in Feb.; Downplays Latest Bizarre Rama Quip

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis confirmed that he will meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in February. Speaking on a TV program, he stated that the goal of the meeting is to commence dialogue on the delimitation of maritime zones between the two countries.
Mitsotakis also mentioned the scheduled meeting with representatives of protesting farmers, emphasizing that various issues are being discussed, such as producers' education and irrigation.
Regarding the comment by Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama about ancient and modern Greeks, Mitsotakis stated that Rama made an unfortunate comment and he accepts the correction.
