Mylonakis Responds to Documento Article on OPEKEPE Case

Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister, Giorgos Mylonakis, responded to an article in the Documento newspaper and by Kostas Vaxevanis regarding the OPEKEPE case. Mylonakis, via a Facebook post, denied allegations of concealing information and accused the newspaper of attempting to criminalize political life.

According to the article, Documento newspaper appealed to the European Public Prosecutor and the Supreme Court, accusing Giorgos Mylonakis of concealing information regarding the OPEKEPE scandal. Mylonakis responded that no prosecutor's office is at his 'door' and that investigations into the case were carried out by the New Democracy government.

Mylonakis described the authors of the article as 'undertakers' of the Novartis case and reiterated that the New Democracy government has taken action on the OPEKEPE case.
