The president of PASOK-KINAL, Nikos Androulakis, attended the divine liturgy in Tenedos, presided over by the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew. Mr. Androulakis emphasized the importance of preserving historical consciousness and collective effort, referring to the difficulties faced by the Greek community on the island, such as obstacles to inheritance rights and the absence of a school.

The Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew expressed his optimism about the increase in the number of expatriates in Tenedos, welcoming the renovation of the Church of the Dormition of the Theotokos. Mr. Androulakis will attend the inauguration of the church, which is an important event for the Greek community.

Nikos Androulakis assured that he will remain a supporter of every effort to maintain the spiritual and historical ties of Hellenism and Orthodoxy with their homeland, always on the basis of international law and the Treaty of Lausanne.
