N. Christodoulides Announces Over €1 Billion in Projects for Nicosia

The President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, announced the implementation of more than 80 projects in Nicosia, with a total cost exceeding €1 billion.

The announcement was made during the Nicosia District Conference on June 30, 2025, at the Nicosia Municipal Theatre. The projects extend from the urban area to the suburban communities.

According to the President, the projects aim to address the challenges facing Nicosia and improve the daily lives of residents. They include interventions in social policy, health, education, culture, transport, and green development.

At the heart of the strategy are the creation of care centers for people with disabilities, urban regeneration, projects to alleviate traffic congestion, initiatives for sustainable development, and investments in culture and tourism.
