New Left Party: Government Accused of Lying About Deputy Minister Kavvadas
Share on:

The New Left party accuses the government of providing false explanations regarding the new Deputy Minister of Rural Development, Athanasios Kavvadas. The criticism focuses on statements made by Mr. Kavvadas regarding the creation of a beverage trading business in Lefkada.

According to the New Left, there is a contradiction between the government's claims that the business was founded by Mr. Kavvadas' then-wife and the statements of the deputy minister himself, who appears to be "proud" of creating the business "from scratch."

The New Left raises questions about the credibility of government sources and calls on Mr. Kavvadas to clarify the truth.

Additionally, the party referred to a series of other issues, such as the freezing of assets in a cigarette smuggling case, a traffic accident involving a minor driver, the banning of women from entering a historic bar in Africa, and the return to "pencil and paper" in schools in Sweden.
