New Secretary-General of RTP: Priority is government change

The new Secretary-General of the Republican Turkish Party (RTP), Mehmet Kale Kışı, stated that his party's priority is to remove the existing government in the occupied territories.

In a statement, Mr. Kışı mentioned that 2026 is a crucial year and the RTP will seek early elections to change the situation. "Our first mission is to rid the people of the existing government, which has caused major problems," he emphasized.

Mr. Kışı thanked the outgoing Secretary-General, Erkut Sahali, and the previous administration, stressing that the new administration will work towards a strong RTP government.
