Fidias to Run in the 2026 Parliamentary Elections with "Direct Democracy" Party

Cypriot MEP Fidias Panayiotou has announced the establishment of a political party called "Direct Democracy" and his candidacy in the upcoming 2026 Parliamentary Elections.

The selection of the 57 parliamentary candidates will be made by the public through an online platform.

He explained that he wears the red clown nose to attract attention and that it works on the algorithm.
