President Christodoulides Receives the 2024 Report of the PSC

The President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, received the 2024 report of the Public Service Commission (PSC) from its President, Giorgos Papageorgiou.
President Christodoulides emphasized the importance of evaluating reforms in the Public Service, highlighting the need for corrections where problems exist. He stated that the reforms aim to improve the situation and address public perception of the Public Service.
Mr. Papageorgiou mentioned that 2023 was a pivotal year for the evolution of how positions in the Public Service are filled, especially senior positions, and that the PSC dedicated a large part of its time to preparing for the reform.
President Christodoulides anticipates a discussion for an initial assessment of the reforms, given that they have not been fully implemented.
