OPEKEPE: €2.5 Million to Mageiria – Semertzidou Families (2019-2024)

According to exclusive information from In, the Mageiria and Semertzidou families allegedly received approximately €2.5 million in subsidies from OPEKEPE between 2019 and 2024.
This amount includes subsidies received by the Mageiria – Semertzidou couple, Mr. Mageiria's mother and three sisters, as well as Mrs. Semertzidou's mother and brother. In total, there are 8 beneficiaries.
The Mageiria-Semertzidou couple allegedly received approximately €733,000 from the total amount. Since 2021, there has been a notable increase in the subsidies received by the couple, with the amount increasing from €63,677 in 2021 to €203,649 in 2024.
The 8 beneficiaries allegedly received €313,111 in subsidies in 2019, which increased to €482,000 in 2024. Mr. Mageiria's mother appears to have received subsidies of approximately €890,739 during the period in question. Mrs. Semertzidou is said to have received just over €133,000.
In total, the 8 are reported to have declared ownership of approximately 2,700 animals (cattle and sheep), but this remains to be verified by checks from the competent authorities.
So far, neither Mr. Mageiria nor Mrs. Semertzidou are being investigated by any authority.
