First Lady Philippa Karsera Resigns from Independent Social Support Agency

First Lady Philippa Karsera has announced her resignation from the Independent Social Support Agency and other charitable organizations via a social media post.

Her decision follows what she describes as a relentless attack with false news and defamatory allegations. Ms. Karsera has sought legal advice on the matter.

She emphasizes that the attack began after she took over the Agency in 2023 and strengthened its budget, as well as providing more scholarships.

Tomorrow, she will inform the Agency's Management Committee of her decision. The resignation is due to her intention to protect the integrity of her family.

Regarding the leaked video, which is characterized as a hybrid attack, the Republic of Cyprus has requested assistance from the United States, France, the United Kingdom, and Israel to identify evidence.

The Director of the President's Office and businessman Giorgos Chrysochos will provide information to the authorities.
