Pavlos Mylonas: I Will Vote Against Tax Reform

The chairman of the Education Committee and DIKO MP, Pavlos Mylonas, has expressed his intention to vote against the tax reform if there are no safeguards for large families.

His statement was made during the discussion in the Education Committee on an ELAM bill regarding income criteria for large families claiming student grants and allowances.

Mr. Mylonas stated that the concern for large families has historically been "the biggest mockery" by governments and the political system. He also mentioned that he will neither be a candidate nor is he from a large family.
