Political Parties Express Grief Over the Death of Kaiti Klerides

Political parties in Cyprus have expressed their grief over the death of Kaiti Klerides, daughter of former President Glafkos Klerides.
AKEL stated that the deceased was an active political voice with strong social action, especially regarding the Cyprus problem and relations between the Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot communities.
The Democratic Party (DIKO) bid farewell to Kaiti Klerides as a woman with a strong imprint on politics and society, who served public life with ethos and respect.
The Democratic Alignment (DIPA) described Kaiti Klerides as a woman of ethos and substantial presence in the public life of Cyprus, continuing the legacy of Glafkos Klerides.
EDEK also expressed condolences, as did the Movement of Ecologists – Citizens' Cooperation.
