Romanos: PASOK's 'Money Tree Watering' Was Expensive

The Prime Minister's Director of Digital Communication, Nikos Romanos, commented on PASOK's proposals for fiscal policy, arguing that cultivating 'money trees' cost the country dearly.
Speaking on Action24, Mr. Romanos stated that PASOK's promises exceed fiscal rules and do not constitute a realistic alternative governance proposal.
He cited the 13th salary as an example, noting that its addition would exhaust fiscal space. Answering a question about indirect taxes, he advocated direct provision over intermediaries.
Nikos Romanos concluded by saying that PASOK has not moved away from the beaten path of benefits, which, however, do not help in creating a realistic governance proposal.
