S. Ioannou (ELAM): "Cyprus First" is not just a slogan

ELAM MP, Sotiris Ioannou, in his speech to the Plenary during the discussion of the State Budget, referred to the Larnaca District, which he represents, emphasizing its needs and demands.

Mr. Ioannou stressed the importance of creating a Public University School in Larnaca, as well as the need to revitalize the city's commercial center. He also spoke about the need to create a new special school and improve building facilities.

He also referred to the need for compensation for the affected municipalities due to the operation of Larnaca airport and compensatory measures in Vasiliko and Dhekelia.

The ELAM MP stressed the need for development of the Larnaca Marina and Port, as well as for security in the neighborhoods and the city center.

Mr. Ioannou stated that "Cyprus First" for ELAM is not just a slogan, but their identity, and that every decision must start and end with Cypriots.

Subsequently, Mr. Ioannou referred to the financial suffocation experienced by citizens due to the increases, as well as the housing problem. He made special mention of young people and the need to support them, as well as the unfair competition faced by Cypriot businesses from the occupied territories.

Finally, he referred to the agricultural world, the need to support families and immigration.
