Serdar Denktaş: Moves to Prevent Tatar's Election

Serdar Denktaş stated that he will do whatever is necessary to prevent Ersin Tatar's election in the "presidential elections". He mentioned that he has started efforts to create a new center party, which will be announced before July 15.

In an interview with Sim channel, Mr. Denktaş expressed the view that Ersin Tatar does not represent him and he would never vote for him.

Mr. Denktaş mentioned that he had made proposals to DK, which he described as "my old party", but they were not accepted. He stated that DK has become a party without politics and goals, and its name is involved in irregularities.

Referring to the four-party "government" in which he participated, Serdar Denktaş argued that it governed very well and that many expenses, including military ones, were paid from domestic resources. He also mentioned that Turkey has a problem with him, without knowing the reason.

Mr. Denktaş argued that Turkey's political intervention was requested by the last "government" and that this must stop.
