Skevi Stavrou: "The government is moving awkwardly, causing confusion"

Journalist Skevi Stavrou, in an interview on OMEGA Channel, commented on the government's handling of the crisis in the Middle East. She pointed out that the government seems to be moving awkwardly, despite attempts to show control.
"The image being projected right now is of a government trying to show that it is in control of the situation, but in practice it seems to be moving with obvious awkwardness," Stavrou said.
She also commented on the test warning SMS messages, saying that if they are not properly organized, they may cause anxiety instead of reassurance. "A citizen suddenly sees an emergency message on their mobile phone. The first reaction is to worry," she stressed.
She also referred to the cancellations and continuous meetings of the National Security Council, saying that they create confusion and anxiety among citizens.
Finally, she commented on the international activity and support for Cyprus, linking it to the importance of the British bases in the region.
